Slowly but surely
So it’s been a very slowwww and frustrating process. The last time I was in hopes of completing all the flowers, I have almost completed all of them with the exception of the yellow flower on the very right, still not right. Another update…
It’s been a slow process with these orchids and I been having a difficult time in grasping my visual intensions. I go between overworking to under working and I keep finding myself going back and removing what I painted and starting that area over. Update…
So, it’s been slowly progressing along and very challenging. I worked more on the leaves, starting working on the stems, slowly adding more color to the pots and started chipping away on the flowers… Ohhhhh, what a challenge for me but I shall continue on. Here’s the latest…
Update on orchids…
So moving along slowly but surely, I figure sometime today I will start working on the flowers. I been working on leaves, a little shadowing and started placing some of the stones. What a challenge 🙂 Here’s where I’m at….

Okay …having a bit of a challenge with this one but making some progress slowly. I have been focusing on the leaves and the base area of the painting mainly because to tell you the truth I am completely intimidated by those flowers, lol. On the easel…
More challenges for me… I figure I would do a still life of these orchids that I just purchased being that there flowers do last a few weeks. Here’s what I have from a quick session last night and 2 reference pics. We’ll see how it goes…;)
