Shaking off the shackles.

I’ve been juggling these paintings for a couple of weeks now and once again I am in a rut and can’t get myself to finish them :(. I started strong but ran into a mental block, the inspiration is there but I am lacking motivation. Usually when I post something that is on the works it makes me feel obligated to complete, hopefully this will the case again.  Despite my paint brush shackles that I am currently wearing I have managed to take advantage of an opportunity of having some of my pieces displayed at “The Limelight Theater” in St. Augustine, they will be hanging there till September and hopefully I can gain exposure and motivation for my next leap.

This is what is on the easels now…. another poison dart frog (my kids keep calling it the candy cane frog) and my two kiddos on the beach.
