    1. I’ve only used wood panels a few times and every time I’ve used them I end up painting either a tree or flowers, no I idea why. I have a tendency to paint nature on them. When I paint on panel I am always pleased with the results. In my opinion, the paint goes on smoother, blends nicer and I am able to layer with much ease. I also feel that using a Mongoose brush works better, especially when adding detail, less streaks.
I just went to home depot the other day and brought a nice size of cabinet plywood, the really nice one to cut to size and gesso to force me to use it more often. We’ll see if that works.
