Lavender Update

It’s been 1 week since I planted my Lavender cuttings with honey in the Dixie cups and they seem to be hanging in there, well at least 3 of the plants look like they are doing good. Two of them seemed to have new growth, next week I will be checking to see if there are any root.

I also notice that next to my Cuban Oregano plant that some of the Lavender seeds I sprinkled actually sprouted, go figure.

I also started another tray with Lavender seeds and added three cuttings of Lavender that soaked in honey simple syrup for 3 hours and then were planted in potting soil in egg cartoons. If they succeed I will cut the egg cartoon sections apart and plant the seedling with the egg cartoon in another pot or in the ground if the weather permits and the size that the plant is.

I will be keeping an eye on them and keeping you posted with the outcome.
