Project Wheat Grass

I started the seeds for the wheat grass project indoors and planning to cut out plugs and planting them in my back yard in the bare spots in hopes that I will get a lush wheat grass lawn, this will be really great for my allergies, lol… I soaked the seeds for 24 hours and spread them on top of a wet paper then I covered them with another paper towel that was damp.

seeds were soak overnight on 08/23 –

1 pic of 08/26- one tray is not growing as much

as the other two. I had to move the one on the

back left to a tray with higher sides. It was not

growing that well where I originally placed them            1 pic of 8/27 they are doing very well and producing

because it was not retaining water.                                   a lot of leaves

I will be keeping them indoors a little longer until I can plant them in my yard, I am trying to recover from my allergies so I can’t go outside for now. I love gardening but I am allergic to almost everything outdoors. I will post pics of pre- planting and the whole growing process. Stay tuned.
